Job Description

Role Location: ANZ Pacific Operations, Suva

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

 

As a Manager Operations Assurance, Pacific, you will be provide close support to Head of Assurance with Audit Co-ordination and remediation for Pacific Operations and Pacific Countries audit issues (this could include ANZ Internal Audit, KPMG and regulatory audit) and also assist Pacific Country Business Continuity Directors with the Business Continuity Management activities for Pacific Operations and any BCP Activities as required.

Your key accountabilities include (but not limited to):

  • Coordination with the Pacific Country Assurance Managers and compile Packs for Pacific Governance forums monthly
  • Extract data and provide data integrity report to the Pacific Country Assurance teams to enhance and improve the Operational Risk data on the Risk System (COR) monthly
  • Support with activities to ensure compliance to the Statement of Works (SOW) Governance requirements and facilitating of annual SOW reviews and providing any Operations support to countries
  • Support the effective and efficient implementation of approved Operational Risk Measurement (Under IAM Framework) 
  • Assist countries to manage assurance of the operations process on an end-to-end basis and supporting with events management especially for events at Pacific Operations 
  • Provide operational risk and Key control effectiveness support and guidance, facilitates and drives the management of operational risks. In addition, provides education, training, support and guidance of testing of controls and reporting of Pacific’s operational risks, issues and management
  • Support the Office Manager role / MD ANZ Pacific Operations as needed

About You

  • Solid experience in managing conflicting priorities, being efficient and organised
  • Strong communication skills including ability to communicate confidently and effectively with the business/operations teams across the region and senior executives
  • Demonstrated problem solving and ability to build and maintain strong productive relationships
  • Develop and apply business knowledge and is able to articulate issues and influence broad base of stakeholders
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic insight and possess strong business acumen
  • Highly autonomous and solutions focused
