Maintenance Manager
Tokatoka Resort – Nadi, Fiji
Are you a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and a passion for maintaining exceptional facilities? Tokatoka Resort is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our resort, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate all maintenance operations across the resort.
- Lead, train, and motivate the maintenance team to achieve high-performance standards.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, public areas, plant and equipment.
- Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Monitor and maintain electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, mechanical, and building systems.
- Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, purchasing, and contractor services.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all resort facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
- Work closely with all departments to minimize disruptions to guest services.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance management or supervisory role within a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality environment.
- Trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and facility management.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and maintenance records.
- Sound understanding of occupational health and safety practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance situations when required.
